Please join us for Seawolf Decision Day on Saturday, April 22 at 10:00 am to experience first-hand what our campus has to offer!

Seawolf Decision Day is our campus’ open house where you have the opportunity to meet current students, faculty and staff, as well as SSU alumni. Learn more about academic programs, student life, campus housing and financial aid. Explore our student club and organization fair, and cheer on our SSU baseball team while they compete on our home field. It will be a fun-filled day with a lot of activities and resources at your fingertips. Register today!

We would also like to invite you to register for dining at The Kitchens, Sonoma State's main dining hall. Serving a variety of delicious Sonoma cuisine in an all-you-care-to-eat format. Registration for The Kitchens is $8 per person (tax included).

Where is SSU and Where to Park?

Sonoma State University is located at 1801 East Cotati Ave. in Rohnert Park.  Parking is FREE, and we welcome you to park in lots L, M, N and O closest to the Green Music Center. Please refer to this campus map

 

Schedule at a Glance

10:00 am: Check-In

Check-in, pick up a campus map, mingle with SSU students and staff in the GMC courtyard while listening to our very own SSU Jazz Band.  Coffee and pastries will also be provided.

10:30 am: Welcome to Sonoma State University

Meet President Mike Lee, Associated Student Body President Nataly Hernandez, and Alumni Association President Libby Payan.  Our opening presentation will be held at the Green Music Center, Sonoma State University’s world-class performing arts center.

11:45 am: Meet Your Dean and Explore our Academic Fair

This is your opportunity to meet your Dean and Department Chairs, and explore the many academic programs and opportunities available at Sonoma State University.  Haven’t picked a major yet?  No problem.  Visit different departments and see what may peak your interest.  There are no wrong answers here!  The academic fair will be open from noon to 3:00 pm in the Stevenson/ Darwin Quad.

Majors include: American Multicultural Studies, Art and Art History, Art Studio, Chicano and Latino Studies, Communication and Media Studies, Creative Writing, English, French, Hutchins School of Liberal Studies, Liberal Studies through Social Sciences, Music, Philosophy, Spanish and Theatre Arts and Dance

Majors include: Business and Administration, and Economics

Major: Early Childhood Studies

SSU offers more than 120 clubs and organizations, so be sure to swing on by the Club and Organization Fair in Seawolf Plaza.  And did you know that SSU is rated #1 among all CSUs for best campus housing?  See why we earned that honor by checking out our dorm showrooms in Sauvignon Village.  And don’t forget to “root, root for the hometeam.”  SSU’s baseball team on our campushome field.

Check out our climbing wall at the Recreation Center, grab a bite to eat at the Kitchens and shop for all of your SSU gear at our Campus Bookstore.  We have staff available to help answer questions at the Welcome Center.  Additionally, you can secure your spot at SSU by paying your deposit in Salazar 1018 A.
