Come experience the spirit of Sonoma State University at Preview Day! Join us on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Sonoma State University for our premier open house event designed to give prospective students and their families a firsthand look at life as a Seawolf.
Whether you're exploring your college options or already picturing yourself at SSU, this is your opportunity to explore campus, connect with inspiring students, faculty, staff, and alumni, and learn everything you need to know about academics, campus life, and the support available to help you thrive. Event Details
- Who: Prospective students (first-time freshmen and transfer students), parents, and families—all are welcome!
- Date: Saturday, October 18, 2025
- Time: Check-in starts at 9:30 AM (activities run until 3:30 PM)
- Cost: The event is FREE to attend
- Address: Sonoma State University, 1801 East Cotati Ave., Rohnert Park, CA 94928
- Location: Student Center (see Interactive Campus Map)
- Parking: All general parking lots are FREE for the day (we recommend E, F, and J)

Apply early and receive your admissions decision at Preview Day! This is your chance to take a confident step toward your future at Sonoma State before the regular timeline.
How to Qualify:
Submit your application to Sonoma State via Cal State Apply between October 1–8, 2025.
Register for Preview Day by October 8, 2025.
If you're eligible, your decision will be ready and waiting at the Admissions booth during the Club & Resource Fair!
Early Admission Eligibility:
- Fall 2026 Undergraduate Applicants
- First Year or Transfer Students
- The application must be fully completed, including course-by-course details
- Not available for:
- Applicants to impacted majors requiring departmental review
- International students on F-1 visas
- Students with non-California coursework (requires extended review)
Note: While we strive to review all applications in time for Preview Day, a small number may require additional processing. If your decision isn’t ready by October 18, 2025, rest assured, your application will still receive priority status.
