Join a live presentation with an enrollment advisor and learn more about Sonoma State University. Virtual Tours are offered on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month from 4 - 5 p.m.

Large Group Tours

We offer tours for large groups of up to 50 guests. Campus tours are free for school groups and organizations bringing students as part of an educational outing. Please contact Kelley Kaslar at kaslar@sonoma.edu to make a reservation or check availability. Reservations will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Length of Tours

Tours last approximately 60 minutes, but we recommend planning to be on-campus for roughly 90 minutes to account for parking, walking time, etc.

Location

Once you arrive at Sonoma State University, 1801 E. Cotati Ave., Rohnert Park, CA, you will meet your tour guide at the Welcome Center, located at Salazar Hall in the middle of campus. Please refer to the campus map for the specific location.

Parking Permits

Parking permits are required for both reserved and general lots. Permits cost $5 in general losts and $8 in reserved lots and may be purchased at kiosks in the parking lots. Refer to the campus map for the locations. You may also purchase a parking permit online in advance of the tour date.

Large Group Tour Parking & Bus Information

Bus drop-off and pick-up is located in Parking Lot E. We ask that buses park in Parking Lot O and not remain in Parking Lot E while the tour takes place. Please refer to the campus map for the specific location. If you are traveling by individual vehicle, parking permits are required to park at SSU.
